Additional Event – The Spring Carnival ’ 2011
The Spring Carnival ‘11 of NBTC Group was conducted on the 29th of April, 2011 at the Corporate office premises in Shuaiba. Vinod Kumar, First Secretary of Indian Embassy was the Guest of Honour and inaugurated the event, in the presence of K. G. Abraham, Managing Director, Mohammed Al-Baddah, Chairman and other guests and officials of the Group. He also flew 11 Green balloons to mark the opening of the event and reiterating the commitment of the group for a Greener Earth.

NBTC has decided to have a year long campaign on Global Warming – Go Green.
NBTC has decided to have a year long campaign on Global Warming – Go Green. This is meant to support the initiation by various organizations globally and to bring in awareness among the NBTC community and among those associated with NBTC.
The awareness program involves Seminars, training programs, presentations, placing the logo on various communications emerging from NBTC, etc.

HSE Slogan - 2011 Let's be skilled
NBTC-HSE Department has decided the slogan for the year 2011 – Let's be skilled. This is aimed at improving the skill of every employee of NBTC for performing the assigned task, thereby reducing the risks associated with execution of work and improving the HSE performance.

Winter Carnival & Annual Day Celebrations
The NBTC Winter Carnival and Annual Day Celebrations will be conducted on 25th February, 2011 at the Corporate Office Premises.
As usual the day is aimed to have a day off with fun and full-on entertainment. The day also offers a platform to show-case the talents of the employees and their families.
The day will feature delicacies of various countries prepared by the employees and will be graced by dignitaries from various walks of life and artists.

NBTC Annual Sports was inaugurated by Managing Director, K. G. Abraham, on Thursday 4th November 2010 at 3.00 PM at Shuaiba at our NBTC premises. The event started with an oath taking ceremony lead by Mr. Dinesh – Sr. Projects manager, followed by a colourful march past by the participants of team events. The Team Captains lead the march past. MD hoisted the NBTC flag to mark the opening of three month long event. The event was graced and felicitated by company officials, dignitaries and attended by thousands of employees.

The Annual Meet will be held on Friday 24th December, 2010 from 08.00 AM onwards. The employees will compete in the following events:
50 Mtrs., 100 Mtrs., 400 Mtrs., Relay, Sac race, High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put

KNPC C&MD Award
NBTC was awarded KNPC C&MD Silver Award for HSE performance. Managing Director, K. G. Abraham received the award from KNPC C&MD, Mr. Sami Al Rushaid at a function held at Hilton Resorts Kuwait on 13th June, 2010.

JO – 'A' Grade rating in HSE.
NBTC was awarded 'A' Grade in HSE rating by Joint Operations. The rating was given after various HSE Audits, Inspections at various projects & Accommodations of NBTC in Joint Operations.

SAC – 'A' grade rating in HSE
NBTC achieved yet another milestone: 'A' Grade rating in HSE by Saudi Arabian Chevron Inc. MGF represented by NBTC is the only Contractor in SAC to be awarded 'A' grade rating.

HSE Exhibition in SAC
NBTC participated in HSE Exhibition organized by SAC HSE Department for promoting HSE and improving awareness among the SAC & Contractors community. The exhibition was conducted on Chevron safety day on 4th November 2010 in the SAC recreation hall at Mina Al zour at at the SAC Golf Club. It was inaugurated by Chevron President. NBTC was given a stall to exhibit their safety performance and achievement
